Klecha & Co. advised The Equity Club (hereafter referred to as “TEC”) on its investment in Cy4Gate S.p.A. (hereafter referred to as the “Company”), becoming one of the anchor investors in the Company alongside Elettronica S.p.A.
TEC will invest between €20ml and €40ml, which will be used to finance the acquisition of Aurora, the largest lawful interception company in Italy and will create the national cyber intelligence and cyber security champion.
Following the investment, TEC will hold a stake comprised between 8% and 16% of the capital of CY4Gate, while Elettronica S.p.A. will maintain 38.5% of the Company.
The closing of the transaction, which is subject to condition precedents, is planned for the first quarter 2022.
